Quick Start Guide: Student
Step 1: Receive Welcome Email from the College Funding Service Center
You and your parent(s) will receive the same welcome email from your designated servicer (with an @engus.info address) at the College Funding Service Center along with his/ her contact information. Be sure to check your spam folder and to add your service center consultant’s email to your address book or as a trusted email contact so there is no lost communication in your junk or spam folder. You will also receive the logins to access ENGUS and the FOCUS2 Career Assessment from within the email. Bookmark your link to ENGUS so you can get back to it later. You can also access Engus from the drop down menu.

Our college planning platform is actually a combination of 2 major components. This site (The Enrollment Management Workflow) located at gametheory.college and Engus.info. Complete this section to understand how this all comes together.
Step 3: Take the FOCUS2 Career Assessment & schedule your Student Positioning Session.
The login information is in your Welcome Email from the College Funding Service Center. This online assessment should only take 45 min -1 hour.
After completing the Focus2 Career Assessment, you are now ready to schedule your Student Positioning Session. The link to schedule this session is in your Welcome Email from the College Funding Service Center. This will begin the college search process.
Step 4: Begin your social media training.
Visit the “Social Media and College Admissions” section of this site to begin your social media training. The link will take you to the Thinkifik platform where you can create your own login. Alan Katzman, CEO of Social Assurity is a partner and leading authority of social media within the context of college admissions and the job search. This comprehensive training will teach you how to use social media professionally.
Step 5: Follow-up
The career assessment, student positioning session, and social media training should be completed within the next 3-4 weeks (maybe more if needed). We will follow-up to discuss your test prep strategy and college planning timeline. We will reference the Gantt Chart in the Client Spreadsheet to map out your personal timeline.

Step 3: Download your Client Spreadsheet
Download your Client Spreadsheet. in Excel format. This Excel Spreadsheet will form the basis of your financial plan to pay for college and will house your timeline/Gantt Chart. Keep this spreadsheet saved where you can find it on your computer. We will reference this spreadsheet with just about every meeting going forward.
Step 4: Visit the “Financial Plan Groundwork” section and complete the activities outlined in this section.
In preparation for our 3rd meeting, we will need you to complete the monthly expenses tab to validate your cash flow and how much you can budget towards a monthly college savings plan. We also have a Credit Card Balances tab if you need to itemize your revolving debt picture.
Step 5: See you at the 3rd meeting!
In our 3rd meeting, we will lay the groundwork on a financial plan to pay for college while maximizing your financial and merit aid from the colleges. When we have a handle on your financial strategy, we will reference the Gantt Chart in the Client Spreadsheet to map out your student’s personal timeline.
